Back to School Sales Tax
Holiday. On August 6th -8th certain back to school purchases
made within the St. Robert city limits, such as clothing, school
supplies, and certain other items will be exempt from City of St.
Robert sales tax. However, Pulaski County sales tax and certain
other taxing districts may not be exempt. For a list of taxing
districts opting out of the sales tax holiday please see the
Department of Revenue's website at

Park Committee Moves
Ahead on Golf Course. Golf course
designer Larry Flatt, of Flatt Golf Services, Inc., recently
returned from Westchester, N.Y., were he visited a course that
employs artificial turf.
“I hit a 60-yard sand wedge, and the ball went
about two feet, just like it should,” Flatt said. “It really plays

Troop I announced extension of hours at Saint Robert
Driver's Testing Station. Testing at the St.
Robert station will be administered from 8:15 a.m. until 4:15 p.m., with
the last road test being administered at 3:45 p.m.

"It's All Here!"
The
Chamber is excited to announce the upcoming shop local event, "It's All
Here!" to be held on November 5th from 5 p.m. to midnight. This
community event is designed to promote area merchants and encourage
consumers to spend their dollars locally.

City Welcomes Bethany Martin as the New Park Facility
Supervisor. Her duties will include supervision of the
maintenance, repairs, and additions to park facilities, including the
new aquatic facility and community building when completed, and all
recreational programs such as Holidays in the Park, Halloween in the
Park and the Outdoorsman Show.
Utility Bills to Get a New Look. Beginning in
July utility bills will include a usage graph to help residents understand
their utility usage.
Online Services Now Being Offered.
Beginning May 1, 2010, residents will be able to pay their utility
bills, tax payments and traffic fines online.

The National
Weather Service has predicted extremely high temperatures. The City of
Saint Robert Municipal Center Main Hall is available for residents who
would like a cooler place to get away from the unusually warm weather.
For your convenience chairs, water, vending machines, public restrooms

The
sign will be located on the at the intersection of Missouri Avenue and
Old Route 66 and feature the city seal along with the seals of each
branch of military service and the U.S. flag, the POW-MIA flag,

Community based military primary care clinic to be
located in St. Robert Municipal Center Building. The clinic,
which will be an extension of the Fort General Wood Hospital, will offer
primary care for active duty, their dependants, wounded warriors and
