St. Robert Parks & Recreation

Park Facilities Supervisor, Betheny Martin previously worked as a Program Director for the YMCA in Springfield, Missouri overseeing youth, arts, and climbing wall programs. She oversees all parks and recreation facilities and programs in the City of St. Robert. This includes maintenance, repairs, additions, and all recreational programs such as Halloween in the Park, Easter Egg Hunt, Holidays in the Park, and the Outdoorsman Show.

The St. Robert Park System currently includes Bosa Heights Park, Plattner Neighborhood Park, Paddock Estates Neighborhood Park, St. Robert Municipal Park, St. Robert-Rotary Skate Park, and George Reed Roadside Park, Tiger Typhoon Aquatic Center and the St. Robert Golf Course.  Along with the city's pedestrian and bycycle trails, the city also has walking trails located at Bosa Heights Park with more planned in the future.

Bosa Heights Park is located at 109 Lee Drive [map] and includes a playground, picnic pavilion, barbeque grills and a walking trail. The park is dedicated in memory of Alderman Thomas J. "Larry" Lawrence.  The officer from the CBRN C3 02-09 United States Marine Corp NCO Operator Course 02-09 assisted in the assembly of the playground equipment, foot bridge and construction of the walking trails.

Plattner Neighborhood ParkPlattner Neighborhood Park is located on Plattner Avenue and currently only includes a playground. A picnic pavilion, barbeque grills and walking trails are planned for the Park in the near future. The city owns 38 acres adjacent to the park which will be utilized to expand the park to include a nature trail and frisbee golf at some point. We are very grateful for all the hardwork of the many volunteers who have helped to construct playground equipment and amenities within our city parks including members of the military and boyscout troops.

Paddock Estates Neighborhood Park is the newest park in our park system. The land for this park was donated by First State Bank. The addition of a couple of picnic structures will be added this summer.
