Current Term of Office - April 2023 to April 2025
Dr. George A. Lauritson was re-elected Mayor in April 2023 and has served the City of St. Robert in many different capacities for many years. He and his wife have been St. Robert residents since his retirement from the military after serving almost 21 years in the Army.
His service to the City of St. Robert includes his service as City Alderman from 1993 to 1997 after which he was elected Mayor. He served as Mayor from 1997 to 2005 when he had to step down as Mayor because of his position as an elementary school administrator. He was once again elected Mayor in 2015 and continues to serve the city and it's residents in the same capacity today.
Dr. Lauritson served in the Army and after his retirement, was a teacher for the Waynesville School District where he also served as a building administrator for several years.
As you can tell, Dr. Lauritson has a servant's heart and has lived most of his life serving others. He continues this in service to our community and residents here in St. Robert.
