The City of St. Robert is providing clarification regarding the law enforcement incident that occurred Sunday, September 20, in the Missouri Avenue area.

The individual was safely taken into protective custody and transported to a medical facility, where they are currently receiving treatment. There was no known credible threat to the St. Robert community.

We are also aware of rumors circulating regarding the incident. No St. Robert police officer was shot, and the individual involved was not shot.

The St. Robert Police Department followed appropriate safety protocols and secured the immediate area as a precaution while the situation was evaluated.
