The City of St. Robert is proud to recognize Travis Brooks, Park Superintendent with Parks & Recreation, as our October 2026 Employee of the Month.

Travis has served the City of St. Robert for two years and has consistently demonstrated leadership, dedication, dependability, and a willingness to do whatever is necessary to help the City succeed. Over the past year, he made a smooth transition from his previous role with Youth Sports into the position of Park Superintendent, quickly taking on the additional responsibilities that come with overseeing the many different aspects of our parks operations.

One area where Travis has particularly excelled is the operation of the St. Robert Municipal Pool. Managing a public pool requires extensive coordination, staffing, training, scheduling, and daily oversight. Travis has done an excellent job helping ensure the pool operates safely and efficiently while providing a positive experience for our residents and visitors.

Travis also plays an important role in planning and executing City and park events. Whether he is preparing facilities, coordinating employees, working behind the scenes, or assisting during an event, he can be counted on to help make sure things get done.

Perhaps one of Travis's greatest strengths is his willingness to step up whenever and wherever he is needed. He does not limit himself to what is simply listed in his job description. When something needs to be accomplished, Travis is willing to take responsibility, help his fellow employees, and work toward a solution. That attitude and commitment are valuable qualities in any employee and especially important in a leadership position.

His performance reflects the qualities we value in our City employees: leadership, dependability, teamwork, initiative, and a commitment to serving our community. His efforts have had a positive impact on Parks & Recreation and the City of St. Robert as a whole.
